I originally contacted Andi looking to feel better overall. I was struggling with disordered eating, a lack of energy, skewed perceptions of food, and a sugar addiction. I needed an overhaul on basic eating fundamentals, how food is essentially fuel and not to be feared, and how to accept myself as is.

 What started out as basic lessons on nutrition, and how to eat proper and well balanced meals, quickly turned into a holistic healing program I could have never dreamed of.

“I have kidney disease and in the final stages of kidney failure.

It is necessary to maintain a very restrictive diet. The hospital dietitian give me an extensive list of every food to avoid but no recommendations on how to create a well rounded meal with the few things I could eat. To make things even more challenging, maintaining the physical health necessary to be on a transplant list was difficult because I was always tired and didn’t have the nutrients for sustained exercise.

I reached out to Andi and she was able to help me turn a novel of “don’t eats” into a short, but very welcome list of not just healthy food options, but also meal suggestions, approved spices and snacks. She was even able to help me navigate the challenges of occasionally eating out and as an avid camper, find easy meal options for food not the go.
